GPSMAP® 1042xsv Multifunction Display with GT52-HW Transducer

For the Garmin CHIRP sonar, as well as the CHIRP ClearVü and CHIRP SideVü scanning sonars, a GT52-TM transducer is provided (also available without transducer). Also, a broad variety of transducers, such as the Panoptix LiveScope sonar, are fully supported (sold separately). It has a large, well-lit display, a fast and straightforward keypad interface with customizable buttons, and a variety of control knobs for a variety of purposes

   

   

Garmin Marine Network lets numerous units share sonar, maps, user data, dome or open-array radar, IP cameras, and Panoptix sonar. Autopilots, digital switching, weather, media, VHF, AIS, and other sensors are supported via NMEA 2000® and NMEA 0183 networks

  

  

Fantastic sonar capabilities are yours to use right now; all you need are transducers. The scanning sonars CHIRP ClearVü and CHIRP SideVü are included in the GPSMAP 1042xsv, in addition to a Garmin 1 kW CHIRP sonar. Even high-end Garmin sonar systems, such as Panoptix LiveScope and the Panoptix DSI, are supported (transducers sold separately).
When connected to a network, a combination's internal sonar may be made available to any other device on the network. You have the option of adding further layers of data to the sonar display, such as radar, the time of day, or GPS speed
