Easy Network Sharing
The Panoptix™ sonar, IP cameras, and dome or open-array radar that are all supported by Garmin Marine Network may be shared across many devices. This Includes Support for autopilots, digital switching, weather, FUSION-Link, VHF, AIS, and other sensors, along with network connection through NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183.
Internal Wi-Fi® and ANT® Connection
Built-in Wi-Fi and ANT wireless networking ensures seamless integration with compatible devices such as quatix® nautical watches, the Garmin Nautix™ in-view display, the gWind™ Wireless 2 transducer, the GNX™ Wind marine instrument, and wireless remote controls. The chartplotter may also be used to live-stream and manage a VIRB action camera.
Refreshes 10 Times per Second
The built-in GPS and GLONASS receiver updates your location and heading at a rapid 10 hertz, allowing for smooth movement on the screen. The feature makes it simple to mark up to 5,000 waypoints with pinpoint accuracy and quickly find your way back to them.
Two SD™ card ports provide for extra storage space for additional maps like LakeVü HD, LakeVü HD Ultra, BlueChart® g2 HD, or BlueChart® g2 Vision® HD, which includes Garmin's proprietary Auto Guidance1; and more.
Your chartplotter includes a pre-race advice page that displays your virtual starting line, as well as data fields displaying laylines, time to burn before the start, and a race timer that can be synced across all of your networked Garmin GPS devices. Other sailing elements supported include an improved wind rise, heading and course-over-ground lines, set and drift, real and apparent wind data, and more.
GPX Waypoints Transfering
With the industry-standard GPX software format, transferring waypoints, tracks, and regularly used routes from another manufacturer's GPS product or a Garmin handheld device is a breeze.
