The 20 HP class has changed a lot in a decade. Where carbureted motors once dominated, today's sellers, the Suzuki DF20A and the Honda BF20, are the two motors in this class we sell. The DF20A uses multi-point electronic fuel injection for reliable cold starts and clean throttle response; the BF20 is a carbureted twin with Honda's programmed ignition and the same reputation for easy starting.

A 20 HP motor is the natural step up from the 9.9–15 HP class for boaters who want noticeably more top end without moving to a full remote-steering rig. Our 20 HP selection covers tiller and remote, short and long shaft, manual and electric start. Note that electric-start Suzuki DF20A models need a 12 V starting battery rated at least 450 MCA / 330 CCA, supplied by the owner.

All motors are brand new and ship with the full manufacturer warranty. We are an authorized Suzuki Marine and Honda Marine dealer. Outboards ship free to the lower 48 with liftgate service.
