At BoatMaxOnline™, we are committed to providing a reliable, transparent, and efficient shipping experience. Please review the information below to understand how we process and ship orders within the United States and internationally.
Shipping Coverage
- We currently ship to all 50 U.S. states, with the conditions below.
- Some outboard motor brands cannot be shipped to Hawaii due to manufacturer restrictions. Please contact us for details.
- Flat rate and free shipping promotions apply only to the contiguous United States (lower 48 states).
- Customers in Hawaii and Alaska receive a shipping quote at checkout for eligible items.
International Shipping
In addition to the United States, BoatMaxOnline ships parts and accessories to 26 countries and territories across the Caribbean, including the Bahamas, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, the Cayman Islands, Turks & Caicos, and more.
- Products available internationally: Parts, accessories, propellers, and maintenance items. Outboard motors are not available for international shipping and ship within the United States only.
- Currency: International orders are processed in US Dollars (USD).
- Shipping rates: Live carrier rates from UPS and FedEx are calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, and dimensions. Where a live carrier rate is unavailable for your address, a flat shipping rate applies.
- Duties & import taxes: Applicable duties and import taxes are calculated and collected at checkout, so your order arrives with nothing further to pay on delivery. These amounts are estimates based on your destination country's import rules.
- Carrier: International orders ship via UPS or FedEx. USPS is not used for international delivery.
- Customs & delivery: International transit times vary by destination and are not guaranteed. Orders may be subject to customs inspection, which can add delays outside our control. A commercial invoice is included with every international shipment.
International orders are final sale. Please review our Refund Policy for international return terms before purchasing.
Estimated Delivery Times
We deliver through trusted carriers based on the product type:
- Outboard motors, 2.5–6 HP: Shipped via UPS or FedEx. Estimated 2 to 7 business days depending on location.
- Outboard motors, 8–30 HP: Shipped via XPO Freight, FedEx Freight, or other carriers. Typically 2 to 10 business days.
- Lightweight items (electronics, parts, accessories): Shipped via UPS, FedEx, or USPS, Typically 1 to 7 business days.
- Items showing a "Ships in X to X days" status: These items are not stocked in our warehouse. We order them from the manufacturer once your order is placed and ship them as soon as they arrive. The estimated timeframe shown on the product page (for example, "Ships in 2 to 7 days") reflects the typical wait before your order leaves our facility. You'll receive tracking as soon as it ships. If a supplier delay extends beyond the estimated timeframe, we'll contact you with an updated ship date.

Shipping Rates
- Flat Rate Shipping: $9.99 on most orders; $12.99 on orders over 5 lb and under $149 (lower 48 states only).
- Free Shipping: Orders of $149 or more qualify for free shipping (lower 48 states only).
- Hawaii & Alaska: Custom shipping quotes are provided at checkout.
- Liftgate service is included at no additional cost on outboard motor deliveries.
We never charge hidden fees — the price you see at checkout is the final price.
Signature Requirement
For security, any order valued over $500 requires a signature at delivery. Please ensure someone is available to receive and sign for these shipments.
Freight Delivery Details
Freight shipments (typically motors 8 HP and above) require someone present at delivery for unloading and signature. To make this smooth, BoatMaxOnline covers the cost of a scheduled delivery appointment. Once the order is en route, the carrier contacts you directly to arrange a convenient date and time. Someone must be present to sign for the product.
Additional Information
All delivery times are estimates and may be affected by carrier delays, weather, or special location requirements. If your delivery location is remote or has access restrictions, we'll contact you with additional options or instructions; delivery to such areas may take additional time.
