Pick the right size

  • 2.3–6 HP: dinghies, kayaks, canoes and small inflatables where carrying weight matters most.
  • 8–20 HP: aluminum fishing boats, Jon boats, tenders and light skiffs that need reliable power without added weight.
  • 25–30 HP: larger aluminum boats, pontoons, heavier inflatables and utility boats; the Suzuki DF25A/30A and Honda BF25/30 offer power trim and tilt.

Each HP collection includes compatibility notes and use-case guidance. If you are not sure about shaft length, measure from the top of the transom to the bottom of the hull at the centerline: about 15 in. is a short shaft, 20 in. long, 25 in. extra-long.
