Motor arriived in good time. The salesman was very good at helping with the order. Fed ex noted that the box was damaged by a fork lift and insisted that we open it up to check, All was good. nothing was missing. We proceeded to mount the engine.
Was nervous buying online but very happy how it all went so easy. They delivered my brand new white Suzuki 30hp as ordered to my door. Im doing the shop payment plan for 1 year to pay it off.
DF25ATLW5 great motor and service by Boat Max online in Pompano Beach Florida. I originally ordered the 30 but they were on back order. Boat and Max went ahead and credited me the difference and offered me the 25 hp which was great. Service was excellent from Boat Max located in Pompano Beach.
It took the engine about two weeks to arrive - manufacturer delays. The engine was very well packed and delivered right onto my driveway.
Installation was straightforward. Get a friend to help you lift the engine into place!
The only issue I had **which isn't a Boat Max Online issue** was that the control cables for the throttle and transmission were not included in the package. Order these from Suzuki when you order the engine so they'll be there when you need them. Also- these cables are NOT the same length; if you put them on reversed you engine won't start.
Also- Boat Max registered the engine for the warranty for me. When I called Suzuki about the cables, they already had all of my engine information. Very nice Boat Max!
