New Generation Fuel Injection System

Fuel injection is a first offered by these outboards in their respective classes, and the DF20A/15A/9.9B engineering team did an exceptional job at developing the outboard without adding unnecessary weight or bulk. Every new part, such as the fuel cooler, vapor separator, inline high-pressure fuel pump, fuel injectors, and a new throttle body, was made as small and light as possible. The system as a whole was made to occupy the least amount of space. Another industry first for the 14.7kW (20PS), 11.0kW (15PS), and 7.3kW (9.9PS) class is that the system runs without batteries. Suzuki's Battery-Less technology provides faster starts, smoother running, and higher acceleration in all conditions without requiring battery power.

Suzuki's Anti Corrosion System

Suzuki uses a specially developed anti-corrosion treatment to protect the exterior of the outboard from damaging corrosion. Direct application of the finish to the aluminum surface of the outboard maximizes surface bonding, enhancing durability and protecting components that are frequently exposed to saltwater.
