Why OEM Parts Matter on DF200-DF250 Engines
The DF200 through DF250 family are offshore-grade V6 engines used in serious fishing and sport applications. At 100-hour service intervals, the cumulative effect of correct vs. incorrect lubrication becomes significant. Suzuki ECSTAR oil is formulated specifically for Suzuki's engine tolerances and operating temperatures; aftermarket substitutes may not provide the same film strength under sustained high-load conditions.
NGK BKR6E plugs are the OEM specification. Using the wrong heat range plug on a high-output V6 can cause pre-ignition damage. This kit eliminates the guesswork and ensures every component meets factory specification.
